Trereife Easter Food and Craft Fair

Inspiring tours of Trereife House, a delectable selection of locally produced food and drink, exquisite art and crafts to browse and buy, children’s Easter Egg Hunt and live music performances…these are just a handful of the attractions to be found at Trereife’s Easter Fair.
One of the many attractions over the weekend will be the highly entertaining locally inspired cookery demonstrations by chefs from local restaurants and colleges as well as Sanjay Kumar from Slow Food Cornwall and Robin Turner from Newlyn’s fish industry. Visitors will have the chance to sample the dishes and purchase the ingredients which will be on sale in the food marquee.

At the top of every younger visitor’s list of things to do has to be the taking part in Trereife’s Grand Easter Egg Hunt. Taking place within the woods and around the walled garden, the Egg Hunt has become very popular with hundreds of happy children expected to be eagerly following the clues this year.

As well as the egg hunt, youngsters can have a go in the Funky Food Workshop or be totally amazed by the incredible Mister Cool Magic and his fantastic magic show.

Cornwall Tor 2012

cornwall cycle tor 2012

It's Cornwall's biggest sportive challenge! - With nearly 1,000 riders last year, the Wiggle Cornwall Tor is becoming one of the most popular sportive challenges in the UK. For 2012 there's a new large capacity HQ in the parklands of National Trust Lanhydrock. There's lots to do there for all the family too.

Quite simply, it's one of the most spectacular and challenging rides you can experience enjoying some of Europe's most stunning coastal scenery. Highly rated by past 'Tor veterens' who consistently tell us it's the best cycling challenge on the calendar. 'The Tor' combines the organisation skills and resources of Kilo To Go and Cornwall Council, coupled with stunningly beautiful cycling terrain. Our 2012 charity partner, Cancer Research UK.
