JERU THE DAMAJA
Jeru the Damaja (born Jeru Davis) aka D. Original Dirty Rotten Scoundrel was born and raised in the East New York section of Brooklyn where the everyday occurrences around him from an early age later became the source from which his rhymes flow. Jeru created and took on the persona of “the Damaja” (because he damages the mic) that is part conscious truth teller and part true to the streets Brooklyn hard rock. Jeru the Damaja hooked up with DJ Premiere and Guru in the late 80’s.

Hed Kandi - Full Club Take Over
For the first time in Penzance, Hed Kandi is coming to town, and taking over Sound Nightclub. Full club decor, confetti cannon, saxophonist, dancers, CD giveaways.......the full Hed Kandi experience.
With a name like Marie-Claire, becoming a fashion model would seem the obvious career path, but during those years of treading the runways of London, Milan, New York and Paris her first love, music, kept drawing her back. The combination of classical musical training, striking beauty and a vivacious character make DJ Marie Claire a formidable package.
Greg Zizique’s unique style of pumping dance beats has seen him hold a residency at the former super club Dance Academy and at Tranzaction events all around the UK. Greg’s cemented a solid reputation for big room twisted dance beats and has gone into the studio and come up with single releases on South Records, Act72 and Musictracx.
Local hero Ashley Thomas has consistently come up with the goods time and time again with a solid reputation in the dance world. Ash has become a favourite club player and has appeared alongside Judge Jules, Dave Pearce and N-Trance recently at Sound.
Advance tickets are only £5 and are limited to 100 tickets. These are expected to sell out quickly, so snap them up now while they are still available. Entry on the door will be £7.
Tickets are for sale in The Vault Bar and Bar One in Penzance.
Christmas.Time. : Near-ta Theatre
Bringing bucketloads of Christmas spirit and festive cheer is Near-ta Theatre’s yuletide comedy, Christmas. Time.!
Charlie and Toby are feeling low, and why wouldn’t they? It’s Christmas Day and they’re serving time at Her Majesty’s pleasure. Join them on a fantastical adventure through Dickens, pantomime, musical, Christmas dinner and Christmas films! See as they build a wonderfully Merry Christmas around them with songs, snowmen and lots of laughs in this truly festive show that puts the ‘cell’ firmly back in ‘celebration’!
