Come and see the helicopter! In association with Atlantic FM's Air Ambulance appeal.
Watch the spectacular Air Ambulance helicopter land in the grounds. Meet the Pilot and Paramedic Team. Experience this iconic helicopter and sit in the Paramedics seat. Visit the Air Ambulance 'Goodies' stall and help raise money to keep this valuable service flying. Atlantic FM will be broadcasting from the Fair, so come and meet the presenters AND GET ON AIR !
Tim Le Grice will be conducting tours of his historic home during the course of the weekend, which was recently show on Channel 4's 'Country House Rescue'. There will be plenty to occupy the little ones with a programme of children's entertainment, storytelling, magician show by Mister Cool Magic and much more throughout the grounds.

A day out for all the family, consisting of stalls offering goods and products of all descriptions, demonstrations, music and some dancing, model steam and electric trains and model tanks. Water based events including the Rescue demonstration by a RNLI lifeboat and a helicopter from the Royal Navy's Search and Rescue Squadron. Our well loved DASH ll (our mini lifeboat on wheels) will be there again, taking as many as want to on a launch down the harbour slip. From 10am. The end time has not been worked out at the moment (January). However, bearing in mind that the high water time of the day will be 11.21am it cannot carry on for the usual amount of time. We do plan to make it as long as is possible.

Theatre Set Up return again this year with their performance of "Much ado about Nothing". Starts at 7.30pm and is an outdoor event on the Great Lawn with interruptions by our peacocks!. Bring own chair if possible and you can bring a picnic although light refreshment will be available before the start and in the interval.

Come on a bat walk from the wood to the churchyard, using special bat detectors to listen for bats hunting over the glebe field. Wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear and bring a torch.
Meet at the Acorn Seat at the end of the main path from the entrance to Maningham Wood (opposite the Co-op, pub and pasty shop in the centre of Illogan village) at 8.15pm and BRING A TORCH.
Free but only suitable for children aged 6 years and above.

The spectacular backdrop of Trereife Park, near Penzance, will be the setting of a summer fayre on Saturday 27th August.
A range of attractions will give the event the atmosphere of a traditional country fayre, with a companion dog show, heavy shire horses, and a parade of hounds. A range of classic cars will be on display and visitors will be welcome to browse an array of food, craft and trade stalls, while local traditional Cornish musicians provide the soundtrack.
