Snatch The Wax presents Rennie Pilgrem

snatch the wasSnatch the Wax is taking over the main room at Sound!

Special Guest: RENNIE PILGREM

...After a life long commitment to a scene that is widely known as 'breaks', building his name both as a solo artist as well as a creative force behind live outfit TCR Allstars and of course making TCR the longest running breaks label to date, Rennie Pilgrem probably needs no further introduction.

In recent months, however, he has dedicated himself to an exciting underground sound that began simply as a bootleg scene and is now becoming an international platform for all things mid tempo and ultra-funky. Fast establishing itself as a dance-floor sound to be reckoned with and equally at home in Main Rooms, Second Rooms and at Festivals and VIP Rooms, NuFunk is definitely one of the main sounds of 2010, and Rennie Pilgrem is at its forefront.

Warming up for Rennie will be Snatch the Wax residents Kristoff & Max Honeyman!

Entry is only £5 all night. Open 11PM - 4AM. Ages 18+.

The Halloween Masked Ball

halloween masked ball heroes cowboysPull your eyes out for the best Halloween event to ever happen in Cornwall. On Saturday 30th October THE MASKED BALL will take the Sandsifter back to it's glory days and beyond with an all night marquee event and an exciting collaboration with MY HEROES KILLED COWBOYS. It's just like the summer Masked Ball but scary and you can wear heels, no grassy knolls to slip down but a bloody good night hosted in three areas with incredible decor and a pumping atmosphere.

The tent will be heated, there will be films and interactive props, drinks and ghosts, music and pumpkins, a Cornish werewolf in Vienna and tricks and treats as we take the regions biggest one off event to a new location. MHKC are currently haunting the top music agencies so expect a frighteningly good lineup that will bring Nosferatu to his knees to be announced shortly..

If this isn't enough, there's also apple bobbing and bat the rat.

Tickets for the summer Masked Ball sold out in 2 weeks, so don’t expect these treats to hang around long.
Tickets are £20
