BBC Blast work shop
Blast on Tour offers free creative workshops for 13-19 year olds. You’ll be working with a local Event Organiser to help plan and manage one of the Blast on Tour Events. You’ll be coming up with ideas for marketing and promotion based on your knowledge of youth in the area, helping with production schedules and event planning and working with local facilitators and youth arts organisations to promote the free workshops, master classes and showcases on offer.

DJ Velso the resident DJ of GET TWISTED club nights that have been held all over West Cornwall in the last few months and infecting people with its Dirty Electro and bass heavy Fidget beats is now getting behind the decks @ Matts's Bar/Club in Penzance (above WH-Smiths).
The night is gonna be a MASH-UP of the best House, Electro, Club Classics and any other tune that DJ Velso can get his hands on, probably involving heavy and dirty bassline's!

The Golowan festival (Cornish for midsummer) is the festival of St John held in Penzance each year in late June.
Events include a fireworks display on the prom, spectacular parades through the streets and a host of street entertainment. There is plenty of live music and theatre performances to keep you entertained throughout the week.
